LPT Security Consulting is a Houston-based, full service, security consulting firm.  The founder and President, J. Patrick Murphy, has over 35 years experience in the areas of law enforcement, security management, loss prevention and consulting.

Our typical Security Consulting services provide business owners and corporations insight into the strengths and weaknesses of their current security protocols and planning.  Our clients include schools, warehouses, office buildings, motels, government facilities, religious centers, apartments and others.

Our Forensic Expert Witness services provides both plaintiff and defense attorney the analysis they need to prove foreseeability, standard of care and proximate cause.  Our opinions are based on a thorough review of all documentation as well as our own experience-based investigation.   We utilize Best Practices set forth by the International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC).  Our expertise is primarily in the following areas:

• Premises liability, Foreseeability, and Crime Analysis.

• Retail Loss Prevention involving shoplifting and use of force.

• Bar/Club/Bouncer. 

• Inadequate security and negligent security cases for insurance matters

We also provide training for security and loss prevention training department personnel who conduct internal investigations and interview and interrogation.
